FAKE Karate Instructors

So many unknowing students are caught out paying out religiously every month for tuition and then after years paying dearly for a  Black Belt certificate that you find one day when you join a LEGIT organization it means Diddly Squat. Money Gone and time wasted

Here is what NEW Students and Old should look for before joining a karate Organization.

  • Is His / Her  instructor credentials legit where you are joining
  • Are they Affiliated to a National Sport Body
  • Has the instructor a proven track record
  • Even though legit – what is HIS/HER standard ?
  • Does  the instructor have police clearance
  • ASK the instructor their lineage then go do some Homework on the internet
  • Check and see if the dojo is a money making one or do they really care for you.
  • Check their FEE STRUCTURE over other reputable organizations
  • Are you getting what you PAID FOR
  • Are the Grading certificates LEGIT or home made
  • Even if they look good – no lineage is a BAD sign

Fake Black belts.. Know them and leave

The biggest and most obvious sign of a fake martial arts teacher, right off the bat, is if they are a snake oil salesman type who teaches their entire martial arts curriculum based on some type of “woo woo” (unconventional beliefs regarded as having little or no scientific basis, especially those relating to spirituality, mysticism, or alternative medicine), such as cultivating mystical energies or “internal” energies that has never been proven by modern sports science that it exists.
