A brief History of Peter Klipfel Shihan 7th Dan

Tableview Goju Ryu Seiwa Kai was founded in 1987 ... Originally starting of at the Daisy Chain Creche teaching kids in a small class room - Later a dojo was build at my home to accommodate larger amount of Students ..

Students were always fairly graded by a panel of 3 - 6 Black Belts of 2nd Dan and up ... The standard was high and will be so again when I start teaching karate in Jan 2017 in Tableview Cape town

Throughout the last 30 odd years I have produced over 70 Black Belts and over 200 WP caps in the Tournament arena ... Amongst those that became champions was a Jonathan Winter that went onto become a all style Kata champion in Budapest

Prior to Tableview Dojos were already underway in Hout Bay and Melkbosstrand ... Only one has survived from that era (1982 )is Gary Mahnke and now is heading his own Goju Ryu Dojo,s called Goshunkan
